Josh is the right Mayor for this city and has demonstrated through his time on Council and his mayoral election campaign to be a champion for Black communities in Toronto. As the co-founder of an organization dedicated to community safety and the mother of a son who fell victim to gun crime, Josh's plan to ensure that our police service focus on core legislated responsibilities for effective policing, including assistance to victims of crime, is what is required. His plan to make public safety a holistic community effort will provide the balance we need for community well-being.
