Josh has always been a passionate advocate for the environment. As Earthroots campaign director, he fought to protect the Oak Ridges Moraine and create the Greenbelt. As a school trustee, he helped create the Eco Schools program, and as a City Councillor was the leading voice against the Gardiner Expressway rebuild and has been a strong advocate for our City’s ravine system.
His environmental platform is by far the most ambitious and comprehensive of the candidates vying to lead Toronto. His transit, active transportation, greenhouse gas reduction and greenspace plans are fully funded and will deliver real positive change for Torontonians.
